Green & blacks, new campaign

Mother's Provocative Green & Black's Prints

Mother has created a unique and bold new print and outdoor campaign for Green & Black's Organic Chocolate.

The campaign gives each chocolate bar in the range its own alluring persona, is the first by Mother for the brand since it picked up the business last year.

The aim of the campaign, which carries the strapline is "This is not a chocolate bar", is to highlight the range's depth and variety of flavour and overturn the perception that Green & Black's is dark chocolate only

Nicely styled & crafted (apart from the final execution)

Pulp fiction

These are all made with paper by Los Angeles-based artist Vincent Tomczyk. Amazingly, he does not rely on digital printing. These are all hand painted.

See more of his work at his website: http://www.vincenttomczyk.com/
Sourced from http://www.thisiscolossal.com/

Perhaps even more unbelievable are these WOOD sculptures by Randall Rosenthal. Each one of these is carved out of a single block of wood and hand painted.

The only way I was able to really believe the method was by seeing these process images on his gallerist's website: http://www.jsauergallery.com/sagemoon/artistPages/RRosenthal.html

graphic match boxes

these matchboxes from Danish design brand Hay are decorated only with the red phosphorus ink that's used for striking matches.
Designed by American product designer Shane Schneck and Swedish graphic designer Clara von Zweigbergk, the Strike Matchbox gives prime position to the striking surface, which is normally squeezed onto one side. "We simply flipped the space devoted to the activity of creating a flame," says Schneck. "99% of matchboxes are used only for advertising."
