Shake the Dripp
Youtube link
Dripp gets on the Harlem Shake bandwagon. I won't pretend I knew the Harlem Shake was a thing.
Enjoy your Thursday morning oddness.

In the Garden of Good and WTF
There isn't much of a payoff from watching this video other than being proud that no one in TD came up with this Sprite concept.

Sponsorchip

Remember that Popchips music video the "Whatever Hollywood" girls created last year? Well, Popchip's darlings were rewarded with three cases of chips and an official sponsorship for their website. There are not enough exclamation points or smiley emoticons to express how excited these girls are.

Microsoft's Vision of 2019
A great video by Microsoft, showing what technology could look like in just ten years! Technology is actually catching up with Sci-Fi movies like Minority Report, which takes place in 2054.

Hallowindow

Here is a cool Jonathan project for Halloween. Mark Gervais' "Hallowindow" sells DVD's that you can project onto a screen behind a window to scare trick or treaters. The coolest effect is the one that creates the illusion of someone being behind a curtain.

Shake it like a video picture!

Nintendo has released a YouTube commercial for its new Wii release, "Wario Land: Shake it". The premise of the game relies on the shaking of the Wiimote throughout the game. The YouTube page for the video interacts with the commercial by shaking and disassembling as the gameplay footage plays out. The execution on this page is amazing: all of the links stay live when they fall to the bottom of the page.

Jamie finally makes it onto later with Jools Holland....

......along with Vicky as guests of Metallica, Bruce & Jane also attended. Later is a very popular BBC programme which goes out on Tuesday & Friday. If you look closely you can see Jamies lip curling in disgust as Lemarr duets with Sway. We are all waiting for the extended friday edition to see if Lars shoutout to "the brilliant minds at TurnerDuckworth" survives the editing process. Great to know Jools Holland and Bono love the album cover too. Expect to see screengrabs of a very pleasantly suprised Bruce Duckworth next week.

Jim Henson and Visual Thinking
Here's an interesting blog posting about visual thinking ;-)
-MartyJim Henson Explores the Process of Visual Thinking
posted by Scott Beale on Monday, May 5th, 2008
Over the years Jim Henson created great series of muppet sketches that explore the process of “visual thinking”. It started with an episode of “Sam & Friends”, Henson’s first television series, where Harry the Hipster gives a lesson in visual thinking to an early version of Kermit the Frog.
Jim Henson then did a remake in 1966 on The Ed Sullivan Show, transforming Kermit from square to hipster, where he gives Grump a lesson in visual thinking.
Henson did another lesson in visual thinking on Sesame Street in 1971, featuring muppets voiced Frank Oz playing the square and Northern Calloway as the hipster.

Commisioned by Mother (London ad. agency) for Coca-Cola, directed by Nagi Noda (famous Japanese artist and top director). Simple yet effective - no computer effects. Vocal by Jack White. Well worth a look. http://www.partizan.com/partizan/commercials/?nagi_noda
