Adobe Lightroom, an application for professional photographers, was finally released. We did concepts on the logo and packaging. Though we did not see this project through development, it seems the final packaging harkens back to our original concept: a chosen slide on a contact sheet/building facade.

Chris's Last Days in London

The past month has been great for me, and probably even greater for those so fortunate to have me in their company! Once I'm back in the SF studio on Tuesday, I'll have pictures to show everyone. Steve Besos, Amazon.com, has gone public on details of his Blue Origin rocket team. The team launched the first test flight of their passenger-carrying, suborbital rocket. The rocket is not yet ready for heights greater than 285ft, but does still represent a step forward in affordable commercial space flight.

Plus, it looks cool.

MINI Motorby Billboard

Not for the paranoid.

If you own a MINI; and live in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, or Miami; we may all know it soon! The new MINI Motorby Billboards can recognize the identity of MINI drivers by reading their Radio Frequency Identification Technology (RFID). The billboards can then customize a message to the driver.

Perhaps this is how our president plans to do some creative damage control. He didn't violate our privacy: he just wanted to say, "Motor on, Jim!"

Just came back from a 'Cool' weekend trip to Oslo, Norway. Thought I'd share some of my findings from my short but busy trip. Activities included, sledging, LOADS of product design gallaries, Fishy food & Keeping warm!
If anybody gets the chance, GO it was 'FANTASTISK'!!!!

Architecture exhibition centre - Futuristic building packed full of Eero Saarinen work, Finnish architect, amonst his works include Jefferson national expansion memorial, General motors tech centre, dulles airport & many more. Definitely web search this gentlemans work.

The Coke Side of Death

The Ga tribe in Ghana see funerals as a a time for celebration as well as a time for mourning. They honor the dead with brightly colored custom coffins in the shape of an object that represents their lives. A Very Terry Christmas

Here, TDUK, is your belated Christmas wish: images from the TDSF Christmas party!

Good food and even better cocktails were consumed in a private room at Bong Su by all TDSF employees and their significant others. With such a rapid growth of the company, it was a real surpise to see the sheer number of people in the room. In addition to dinner, Brittany and I hosted a TD quiz show and Rebecca handed our farewell to Rachel. Jonathan won the quiz show, and after much patience by the audience, he managed to open his prize: ceramic chicken feet-shaped salt and pepper shakers. Joanne shouted, clapped and nearly fell out of her chair from drinking one too many cranberry juices. Fortunately, David managed to stay clothed this year and not make an embarassing scene (no, I have not been fired yet).

Terry managed to capture all the action with his camera. Thanks, Ter-bear!

Upon reflection

A friend of ours designs structural elements for America's cup yachts. He just sent these photos from Valencia where his team is based. The architecture is worth checking out. I love the way the reflecting pool is an integral part of the design. His boat looks pretty cool too.
